Abstract:
The dysfunctional character of the family system is a phenomenon that places children and
adolescents in a state of vulnerability throughout the world. Vulnerability can be caused by factors
such as: physical health problem; the psychological or mental shock; socioeconomic status and
extreme poverty. According to UNICEF (2004), as the circumstances of misery that were felt in
the past in Mozambique, put more than half of the Mozambican population below the poverty
line, that is, in conditions of extreme poverty, a factor that presented conditions for the increase
of the poverty of children people. In these centers, reception centers have a role to play in the
context of social assistance to children from dysfunctional family systems. The present work
entitled “The present work with the title “The system recognized as being known and with the
mothers in the basic functioning of the Mavalane system, as the system known as it works as the
family functioning of the Center of Mavalane Mother, Mavalane village, Mavalane
neighborhood. Identifying the causes of these children's vulnerability and the type of interaction
that exists between the family and their children, the CDMM and as children means going to the
heart of the matter and verifying what its impact is on the family structure and not its functioning.
The survey was carried out on Mother’s Day in Mavalane, with 6 parents and guardians of the
Children's Center welcomed by the CDMM and 4 educators who accompany them in their day-
to-day activities. Given the character of the study, a qualitative researcher, combining methods,
descriptive and analytical, through which it managed to obtain that shows the functioning of
family systems and with two children. The results of the research of systems by systems taken in
from the system are not many children and the results of the family of families, from the existence
of wealth, by relationships from their family members, because of the weak family and the family
system. of education that disadvantage the person in charge of proper functioning, thus weakening
the children. The results indicate that the type of interaction existing in families is also
characterized by an activity, of anguish and anxiety.
