Abstract:
This study analyses the Escola Primária Completa 4 de Outubro school council contribution in
pedagogical management. In order to analyse the role of that organ in the students education
development.
The research took place in the district of Boane, concretely in the Chinonaquila township in the
school mentioned above.
The research qualifies itself as qualitative become it brings an approach that fits the purposes of
the same, precisely because it's observance allowed to collect relevant information to the selected
environment knowledge for the research. For that, was chosen a sample of 10 individuals in a
universe of 21, which corresponds to the total population of the research universe. The research
methods used were the questionnaire and interview. The questionnaire was addressed to the
teachers and the school board. The local community (parents and the guardian's) were submitted
to semi-structured interviews, which consisted of pre-defined questions.
The questionnaire method used for the teachers and management staff enable to reach more
people simultaneously, in addition to faster and more accurate response. The semi-structured
interview used to local community, was due to the fact that it has the privilege of being used with
the whole population segment "illiterate” and literate.
In conclusion, can be said that the Escola Primária Completa 4 de Outubro council is
concentrated in the hands of the school headmistress, where there is no opening to the other
members to give their contribution, thus making difficult the council contribution to the good
pedagogical management so, compromising the students pedagogical developmen
