Abstract:
The present work investigates the characteristics that a supervised internship practiced in the real classroom must present. The result of the investigation and a prototype of the supervised internship guidance for the trainees, superiors and tutors of the distance teacher education course. This prototype suggests the practice of supervised internship in the real classroom, instead of the supervised internship among trainees. The first stage contains the activities of selection of theories (principles, criteria) and filling (refining) of the curricular elements. The second is constituted only by the activity of designing the prototype, in the workshop with specialists in the preparation of instructional material. The third stage develops the needs analysis and production activities of the prototype. The last step has as its first activity the evaluation of the prototype by the trainers and, as a second action, the testing / revision of the same prototype. Data collection was based on bibliographic consultation and experts, in the workshops, survey, questionnaire, diary - interview and observation and observation. The study's conclusions recommend a supervised internship in which trainees learn through practice, research and reflection, with continuous supervision, at varying levels. The final product of the investigation and a prototype of the supervised internship manual, to be practiced in the real classroom, presented separately.
