Abstract: The streaming of television news on social networks, as an example of the case of TV Miramar, brings important contributions to the understanding of news consumption patterns on social networks. This study highlights the relevance of user interaction and participation in this context. With the advancement of technology and widespread access to the internet, social networks have played an increasingly significant role in the dissemination of information. People have been using these platforms as an important source of news and updates. The results indicate that TV Miramar's broadcast of live news via social media has an engaged audience that values this form of access to information. One of the main implications of this study is that live news broadcasting via social media allows for greater accessibility and reach, making it a viable and attractive option for users compared to traditional broadcasts via open TV. Furthermore, user interaction during broadcasts demonstrates an increase in audience involvement in the production of informative content. Important contributions of this study are related to the understanding of news consumption patterns in social networks, as well as the recognition of the importance of user interaction and participation in this context. This information can be useful for TV Miramar and other media organizations that want to explore and optimize their news delivery strategies through social networks.
