Abstract: The analysis of irrigation systems through an analysis coming from a growing interest due to the economic and environmental performance implications associated with them is. An efficient sprinkler irrigation system has uniform distribution and good application efficiency. In this perspective, the present study aimed to evaluate the performance of a sprinkler irrigation system without pumping, in irrigated land 7 de Abril-1, Vanduzi District located in Manica Province. Tests were carried out to determine the uniformity of water distribution, in three plots, and equidistant from each other, randomly selected and corresponding to 10% of the farms, where the Christiansen uniformity coefficients (CUC), distribution uniformity coefficient (CUD) and coefficient of statistical uniformity (CUE). Likewise, a characterization of the hydraulic profile of the system was made (flow, and hydraulic loads in the distribution and distribution lines) and the water application efficiencies of the irrigation project were determined. The survey was carried out between the months of February to May 2021 and the main data analysis analysis comparison with the established standards. The coefficient of uniformity of water distribution in plot 1 was, with values between 48.2% to 64.2%, in plot 2 it was reasonable, presenting values between 55.1% to 76.4% and in plot 3 it was announcing , presenting values between 66.5% and 84.2%. In general, the uniformity of water distribution in the plots was considered good. The overall efficiency of the irrigation project was around 40%, which is below the recommended value for sprinkler irrigation systems. This value was mainly influenced by the low efficiency of water application as a result of wind drag losses, and the use of tall tree barriers is recommended in order to minimize the use of tall tree barriers in order to minimize the impact of strong wind in the watering reduction process.
