The aim of this work is to draw attention to the existence of laryngeal tuberculosis even in the absence of pulmonary tuberculosis. In Mozambique, few cases of laryngeal tuberculosis have been described. At the Maputo Central Hospital, this is the fifth case diagnosed since the 1980s. This small number in a region with a high incidence of tuberculosis is due to difficulties in auxiliary diagnostic tools and, in particular, the lack of clinical suspicion on the part of physicians.en_US
